what the actual fuck!!! you are like my fav producer and I've just noticed you have a profile on this majestic old school website!!! bro please check my stuff out and see what you think. even just one tune! you'll make my year. I comment on your you tube all the time and I have like 5 tracks on youtube but I have millions on here hit me up friend! your a weapon bro keep up the amazing work!!!

this is a nice tune bro!

Spline-1337 responds:

Thank you very much!

another nice tune bro, think I perfer this one to the other one. the high pitched synth was becoming a bit too much as the tune progressed in my opinion, a lil bit more variety in synths would be sick. do you use native instruments massive? if so I can send you some mean presets if your looking for some truly evil sounds to mix into your trap. like the vocal mix at the beginning, think thats boss. can here a bit more brass in this one too, always a plus ;) I think my point about the high pitched synth is more, that it needs some thing low end that makes some noise for the high synth to bounce off (in my humble opinion). ;) good track though bro jus send me another message if theres any other tracks you want my opinion on. ;)

Spline-1337 responds:

Yes, I use an array plugin, if you have presets, then send them to me, please, in PM. Thank you in advance!

hey mahn, yeah solid track. vocal is solid, you do it your self?? would love to do a collab if you do vocals. the drums sound well produced. personally I would say you've over done the detune a wee bit at the end and would have turned your brass up a lil bit more and maybe would have used it a bit more too, that being said it's hard to find a nice brass plugin that is cost effective these days. all in all a well produced tune laddie keep it up!

Spline-1337 responds:

Sorry, but the vocals are not mine, this is a vocal sample from a sample pack. Glad you liked it! Good luck!

yeah, nice mate always like a bit of 8 bit. :D

you have a good sound sound there mate. but you could do a lot more with it, no offence. you have a good structure. but if it was me i'd put a few more low end syths in to bounce off the main synth you have cuz it's nice and dirty. plus a few added sfx would help the flow a bit, like a nice airy crash or a mean thud every four to eight bars when the dubstep kiks in. also i think the mix could be a bit better towards the end the rising synth at the end seems to drown out the main sound. but you've faded out so it's maybe just the way it sounds when it begins to fade thats thrown me a bit. but like I said you have a good structure mate i think it just needs a bit more refining. hope you found this helpful bud. :D

sick mate!

sick mate!

Flamingweeny responds:

thanks :)

tune dude!

hey, I think what you've done so far is good. If I was to say anything I'd say that the pitch of the vocals would need adjusting at around the 2 minute mark, but thats my own personal taste. I'd also suggest (if your on fl studio) that you should maybe put the vocals into gross beat (through the mixer) its good for chopping and mixing vocals. Fruity slicer too if you want to do the same thing but fine tune it yourself. I'd also suggest a low sub fadeing in and out or ghosting the track.
but yeah I like the pace and the vocals make it sound a bit spacey and quite lucid. :D

Ragamuffin responds:

I'm not using FL. :T
I'm not a fan of glitching/slicing with VSTs. it just doesn't feel proper, like I don't have true control.
Slicer is cool, but I prefer Sampler.
I'm not sure how I feel about a sub either. But anyhow!
Thanks for the input.
